What is the A60 UV-C LED bulb?
The A60 is a UV-C LED bulb with a standard E27 base that does two jobs at once: it lights the room like an ordinary bulb (8 W, >750 lm, CRI >80) and disinfects with UV-C at the germicidal peak of DNA (~265 nm). Nine UV-C chips cover up to 9 m² (97 sq ft) of room.

UV-C LED vs. mercury lamp — what's the difference?
A mercury lamp is locked at a fixed 254 nm and is hazardous waste at end of life. The A60 is solid-state LED: it emits at 260–285 nm, right on the germicidal peak of DNA (~265 nm), carries no mercury, and shuts the UV-C off through a sensor when someone walks in.
