Can one UV-C bar treat air, surfaces and food?
Yes — the X50 emits a focused UV-C beam in one direction, creating a continuous disinfection zone wherever you aim it. Mount it on a wall to treat air, on the ceiling to treat rooms and work surfaces, or over a conveyor to treat product as it passes underneath. Same bar, three jobs.
Air
Treats airborne particles continuously. The effect is comparable to turning the room's air over several times an hour, with no ozone and no need to stop production.
Surfaces
Reduces virus, bacteria and mold load on countertops, belts and equipment inside the irradiated zone, cutting recontamination between shifts.
Food
Applied to the product surface or to the belt itself, it lowers the initial microbial load and helps extend shelf life, without changing flavor or color.
What is the X50 UV-C LED bar?
The X50 is a 1,200 mm (47.2 in) germicidal UV-C LED bar built for rectangular treatment zones — the shape of a conveyor line. It emits in the germicidal UV-C band of 260–280 nm with a 265 nm peak, draws 30 W, and uses no mercury lamp and no chemicals.
